News, sports, features, and photos have been printed on the pages of the historic record of events we publish every week.
We are looking for the right person to Manage the Sales Efforts for the continued success of the Circulation Department.
The right candidate will spend time in all the Phillips Media offices, but will mostly work from home.
Phillips Media has papers in the following communities: Missouri: Sedalia, Bolivar, Buffalo, Stockton, Christian County, Cedar County, Marshfield, West Plains Arkansas: Harrison, Newton County The right candidate will posses the following: Top Notch Telephone Sales Skills and experience in outbound calling Ability to mutli-task Self-motived Proven track record as working alone and as a team This is a full-time position with full-time benefits.

The Sedalia Democrat was founded in 1868 as a weekly newspaper and began its daily edition, originally called the Daily Democrat, Dec. 19, 1871.
The Democrat is Pettis County’s primary source for daily local news coverage. We reach more than 15,000 readers every Tuesday through Saturday with our print newspaper. Some 64,000 unique viewers come to our website every month for the latest-breaking news stories.
The Democrat newsroom received 21 awards for its coverage during 2016, including 10 first place honors for Breaking News, Sports, News and Feature Photojournalism, and Column Writing. Awards were received from the Missouri Associated Press Media Editors, Kansas City Press Club, Missouri Press Association and Missouri State Teachers Association. The Pettis Plainsman is distributed every Wednesday, with more than 13,000 copies distributed by home delivery and racks in Pettis County. The South Plainsman is distributed every Wednesday, with more than 17,000 copies distributed by home delivery and racks in Benton, Morgan and Henry counties.
